Diana

The winter wind was blowing cold that year

But everything grew warm when you drew near

It was December when you caught my eye

Underneath that freezing, starry sky

I saw your honest heart, so clear and true

And found a quiet kind of peace in you.

Oh, Diana, with your loving, gentle grace

No one could ever take your place

Through the falling leaves and the winter snow

You are the sweetest love I'll ever know

I promise you, until the end of time

I will love you always, wife of mine.

The seasons turned the summer green to gold

And brought a story waiting to be told

We stood together in the crisp October air

And made a holy vow that we would share

I took your hand beneath the autumn skies

And saw my whole forever in your eyes.

Oh, Diana, with your loving, gentle grace

No one could ever take your place

Through the falling leaves and the winter snow

You are the sweetest love I'll ever know

I promise you, until the end of time

I will love you always, wife of mine.

You speak the truth and never hide your soul

Your kindness is the thing that makes me whole

From that first December to this very day

I thank the Lord He sent you down my way.

Oh, Diana, with your loving, gentle grace

No one could ever take your place

Through the falling leaves and the winter snow

You are the sweetest love I'll ever know

I promise you, until the end of time

I will love you always, wife of mine.

Yes, I will love you always, wife of mine.
