Ann

In the gentle rhythm of our everyday words

Your patience and kindness are easily heard

My mother, sweet Ann, with a heart full of grace

The light of the Lord is alive in your face

You walk through this life with your hands open wide

With faith as your compass and God as your guide

Oh, heaven smiles down on the love that you pour

A woman of strength, I could not ask for more

You anchor this family, you show us our worth

And Mama, I love you more than dirt

Turning the pages of old photographs

Through all of the years and the echoes of laughs

Watching the children grow up in your light

While missing your husband in the quiet of night

But God is your comfort, He holds you so near

And your laughter with Averi rings out so clear

Oh, heaven smiles down on the love that you pour

A woman of strength, I could not ask for more

You anchor this family, you show us our worth

And Mama, I love you more than dirt

Through seasons of longing, your spirit holds fast

Trusting the Savior, a peace that will last

You built us a legacy rooted in love

Reflecting the kindness of heaven above

A faithful believer, so brave and so true

I thank the good Lord that He gave me to you

Oh, heaven smiles down on the love that you pour

A woman of faith, I could not ask for more

You anchor this family, you show us our worth

And Mama, I love you more than dirt

Yes, Mama, I love you more than dirt
