Sandy rhoades

There’s a gentle kind of quiet in the way you care

A heavy dose of comfort in the love you share

Sandy Rhoades, you give your heart to everyone around

In your steady open arms, a sacred peace is found

You’re a blessed woman walking in the holy light

Making sure the people that you love are doing right

'Cause you believe in God with all your heart

You’ve been leaning on the Word right from the start

A caring spirit, loving deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Yeah, the Lord poured out His blessings, that’s for sure

Giving me a mother with a faith so pure

I can picture us right now, pulling up a chair

Sitting at the table, just breathing in the air

Watching the TV until the daylight fades

Laughing out loud through the evening shades

It’s the simple little moments that I hold so close

Just me and my mother, the one I love the most

'Cause you believe in God with all your heart

You’ve been leaning on the Word right from the start

A caring spirit, loving deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Yeah, the Lord poured out His blessings, that’s for sure

Giving me a mother with a faith so pure

You don't need a pulpit to show us what is real

It's in the way you listen and the way you make us feel

A living, breathing prayer, a steady guiding light

Showing everybody how to love somebody right

'Cause you believe in God with all your heart

You’ve been leaning on the Word right from the start

A caring spirit, loving deep and true

I see the grace of heaven when I look at you

Yeah, the Lord poured out His blessings, that’s for sure

Thank God for Sandy Rhoades, and a faith so pure
