Sean

I watch you build with your creative hands

An intelligent mind that always understands

You work so hard, but still you make me smile

With a silly joke that lingers for a while

You give your heart in everything you do

I thank the Lord for a man like you

It is not the years we count, but the memories we make

A life well lived in every step we take

Through Christ who gives you strength, you can do all things

I pray His grace will hold you beneath His wings

May God always protect you, Sean, wherever you go

In this tender love that we have come to know

Out on the boat, just resting on the tide

With our family close and music as our guide

From sharing plates of food to singing on the road

You have a giving spirit that lightens up the load

So wise and funny, steady as the sea

You are a blessing heaven sent to me

It is not the years we count, but the memories we make

A life well lived in every step we take

Through Christ who gives you strength, you can do all things

I pray His grace will hold you beneath His wings

May God always protect you, Sean, wherever you go

In this tender love that we have come to know

Every trip we take, every song we hear

I feel the Holy Spirit drawing near

Keep holding to the Word, let it be your light

He will guide your steps through the day and night

I lift you up in prayer, my partner and my friend

Knowing God is with you to the very end

It is not the years we count, but the memories we make

A life well lived in every step we take

Through Christ who gives you strength, you can do all things

I pray His angels guard you beneath their wings

May God always protect you, Sean, wherever you roam

With you, my heart has found a peaceful home
