Deb

I found a sanctuary glowing on a screen

A digital church where your spirit was seen

You welcomed me in with a beautiful grace

A lovable soul shining out from that place

Deb, you built a home where the weary could go

And planted a seed just to watch it grow

"Write the vision and make it plain"

You hold onto faith through the joy and the pain

You’re always right there when the shadows descend

A patient believer, a beautiful friend

God gave you a light that you don't hide away

You wrote out the vision and showed me the way

When my body was failing and my health broke down

You were the constant when no one was around

Checking in daily, you wouldn't let go

With a sense of humor that softened the blow

You made me laugh when I wanted to cry

A faithful companion beneath a dark sky

"Write the vision and make it plain"

You hold onto faith through the joy and the pain

You’re always right there when the shadows descend

A patient believer, a beautiful friend

God gave you a light that you don't hide away

You wrote out the vision and showed me the way

Such a lovable heart with a patient embrace

You carry the Lord in the smile on your face

For every prayer whispered and every word sent

You were the comfort that heaven had meant

To keep me from falling, to help me to stand

Guided by grace and a comforting hand

"Write the vision and make it plain"

You hold onto faith through the joy and the pain

You’re always right there when the shadows descend

A patient believer, a beautiful friend

Deb, you're a light that you don't hide away

You wrote out the vision and showed me the way

Yes, you wrote out the vision and showed me the way
