Leah

Remember that adult egg hunt down in Owensboro?

Running around the grass like we were just kids

You've always had a spark that lets the joy show

In every single crazy thing that we did

Like seeing David and the crew floating by

You didn't even hesitate or think it through

Jumped in the lazy river fully clothed, flying high

That’s just the fun, fearless magic of you

Leah, you’ve got a heart so big and strong

You fought the hard fights and you proved the dark wrong

I am so proud of the mountains you've climbed

Your love for God leaves the shadows behind

You make me want to be better, it's true

I’m so blessed to have a best friend like you

Now we're just hanging out, passing the time

Talking 'bout life and the peace you have found

Celebrating your recovery, watching you shine

With both of your feet planted firm on the ground

I look at your strength and the grace that you hold

Every new chapter is a beautiful sight

You took the heavy days, turned them to gold

Walking through fire and into the light

Leah, you’ve got a heart so big and strong

You fought the hard fights and you proved the dark wrong

I am so proud of the mountains you've climbed

Your love for God leaves the shadows behind

You make me want to be better, it's true

I’m so blessed to have a best friend like you

When I see how you lean on your faith every day

It changes my spirit, it shows me the way

You’re a walking testament, wild and free

The greatest gift that was given to me

From jumping in rivers to answering the call

I am just so amazed by it all

Leah, you’ve got a heart so big and strong

You fought the hard fights and you proved the dark wrong

I am so proud of the mountains you've climbed

Your love for God leaves the shadows behind

You make me want to be better, it's true

I’m so blessed to have a best friend like you

Yeah, I'm so blessed to have a best friend like you
