Paula

From early days and childhood years

We walked the path of youth

Growing together side by side

In steady love and truth

Through every joy and passing tear

You held my hand so tight

And brought a comfort to my soul

When shadows turned to night

Oh Paula, with your loving heart

You give your spirit free

Your kindness is a guiding light

That shines its grace on me

Forevermore, through all my days

My sister you will be

I love you with a grateful soul

For all eternity

You ask for nothing in return

But give with open hands

A gentle nature, pure and kind

That always understands

A quiet grace surrounds your steps

In everything you do

The greatest blessing of my life

Is growing up with you

Oh Paula, with your loving heart

You give your spirit free

Your kindness is a guiding light

That shines its grace on me

Forevermore, through all my days

My sister you will be

I love you with a grateful soul

For all eternity

The seasons turn, the years will fade

But this will never part

The endless love I hold for you

Deep down within my heart

A bond that time can never break

A sacred, lifelong tie

My sister and my dearest friend

Beneath the open sky

Oh Paula, with your loving heart

You give your spirit free

Your kindness is a guiding light

That shines its grace on me

Forevermore, through all my days

My sister you will be

I love you with a grateful soul

For all eternity
