Charity James

My sweet daughter, Charity James

Walking in faith and praising His name

So humble and gentle, but strong in the fight

A beautiful soul stepping into the light

I see the Holy Spirit shining right through your face

My precious girl, a warrior of grace

Oh, Charity, Heaven is smiling down

You’re wearing His favor like a golden crown

I love you so deeply, with all that I am

And you are held safe by the Great I Am

A warrior for Christ, standing so tall

God loves you, Charity, through it all!

I’ll never forget the tears of pure joy

The peace in your spirit that nothing destroys

The day you surrendered, you made a new start

And gave your life completely back to His heart

You laid down your burdens, you answered the call

And let the sweet mercy of Jesus fall

Oh, Charity, Heaven is smiling down

You’re wearing His favor like a golden crown

I love you so deeply, with all that I am

And you are held safe by the Great I Am

A warrior for Christ, standing so tall

God loves you, Charity, through it all!

Saved and redeemed, you are walking in truth

A testament shining, a light in your youth

No weapon against you could ever succeed

For Christ is your anchor, in word and in deed

I lift up my hands and I thank Him above

For blessing my life with my daughter's sweet love

Oh, Charity, Heaven is smiling down!

You’re wearing His favor like a golden crown!

I love you so deeply, with all that I am

And you are held safe by the Great I Am!

A warrior for Christ, standing so tall

God loves you, Charity, through it all!

Yes, God loves you, Charity, through it all!
