Nikki

I look at the heart you carry, Nikki

So gentle, supportive, and true

Whenever the shadows get heavy

I know I can lean upon you

You hold all my secrets in safety

You carry a beautiful spark

Your love is patient, your love is kind

A protective embrace I can always find

The greatest sister I could ever know

A grace that follows wherever I go

I thank heaven for the gift of you

And I promise to love you just as deeply too

We’ve traveled on different journeys

Whatever the paths we may take

I treasure the moments between us

And all of the memories we make

Every laugh, every quiet confession

Are bonds that will never break

Your love is patient, your love is kind

A protective embrace I can always find

The greatest sister I could ever know

A grace that follows wherever I go

I thank heaven for the gift of you

And I promise to love you just as deeply too

You are so special, a rare kind of soul

You step in the brokenness and make it whole

Through every season, through every test

I look at you, Nikki, and know I am blessed

So here is my heart laid open

A mirror of all that you give

I'll stand in your corner forever

As long as we both get to live

'Cause your love is patient, your love is kind

A protective embrace I can always find

The greatest sister I could ever know

A grace that follows wherever I go

I thank heaven for the gift of you

And I promise to love you just as deeply too
