Ronnie

I look back on the day that we stood at the altar

The moment we promised our lives to each other

Now twenty-four seven, you're right by my side

With faith as our anchor and grace as our guide

Ronnie, you're the blessing I prayed to receive

An honest companion who helps me believe

Oh, you're a God-loving man with a beautiful soul

Letting the Spirit take total control

When Heaven whispers, you answer the call

Giving your hands and giving your all

To me, to our kids, and the Father above

Ronnie, I am so deeply in love

If somebody's struggling and needs a safe place

You step right in with a measure of grace

Whenever you feel the Lord pointing the way

You're the first one to serve and the first one to pray

I see how you cherish the kids that we raise

Filling our home with devotion and praise

Oh, you're a God-loving man with a beautiful soul

Letting the Spirit take total control

When Heaven whispers, you answer the call

Giving your hands and giving your all

To me, to our kids, and the Father above

Ronnie, I am so deeply in love

Through every season, through every test

I thank the Good Lord that my spirit is blessed

I just want to tell you, I just need to say

My love for you multiplies every new day

You walk in the light and you stand in the truth

There is no one on earth who could love me like you

'Cause you're a God-loving man with a beautiful soul

Letting the Spirit take total control

When Heaven whispers, you answer the call

Giving your hands and giving your all

To me, to our kids, and the Father above

Ronnie, I thank God for your love

Yes, Ronnie, I thank God for your love
