Almeta

Almeta, your hands are so willing to give

You show me the way that the faithful should live

A mother so loving, so tender and kind

You bring such a heavenly peace to my mind

Whenever I need you, you answer the call

With a caring embrace that can conquer it all

And we know that for those who love God

All things work together for good

For those who are called to His purpose

He carries us just like He should

You planted this truth in my soul

That Heaven is in full control

And all things work together for good

You stay in my corner through thick and through thin

Whenever I'm weary, you help me begin

You are so encouraging, steady and true

I feel so supported and cherished by you

Through every dark valley and mountain we face

You anchor my heart in the warmth of His grace

And we know that for those who love God

All things work together for good

For those who are called to His purpose

He carries us just like He should

You planted this truth in my soul

That Heaven is in full control

And all things work together for good

Romans eight and twenty-eight

A promise you helped me to see

Your faith is a beautiful light

That washes right over me

You give and you love without end

My mother, my guide, and my friend

And we know that for those who love God

All things work together for good

For those who are called to His purpose

He carries us just like He should

You planted this truth in my soul

That Heaven is in full control

All things work together for good

Oh, Mama, you showed me it's true

God's goodness is living in you

And all things work together for good
