Daxten

I was standing in the room the moment you arrived

My very first grandbaby, tears of joy in my eyes

You're the one who made me GiGi, my handsome little man

Through everything you’ve faced, I've watched you firmly stand

You've been through a lot, but you're so brave and strong

You've had a sweet and loving spirit all along

Oh, Daxten, wherever you go in this life

Through the good and the bad, the joy and the strife

You will always hold a special place in GiGi's heart

No matter where you wander, we will never be apart

I'm so proud of who you are, you can always come to me

My brave and loving grandson, the boy who made me GiGi

I cherish all our Sundays, sitting in the church

Then grabbing food and catching a movie afterward

From the clubhouse to the water parks, or casting out a line

When you lived under my roof, those were my favorite times

Chuck E. Cheese and the zoo, getting lost in the Brown Hay Maze

I'll hold onto this special bond for the rest of my days

Oh, Daxten, wherever you go in this life

Through the good and the bad, the joy and the strife

You will always hold a special place in GiGi's heart

No matter where you wander, we will never be apart

I'm so proud of who you are, you can always come to me

My brave and loving grandson, the boy who made me GiGi

As you grow up and chase your dreams, I pray you find true love

Be successful, be kind to others, and trust the Lord above

When the hard times come around, you know I'll be your rock

Just keep Jesus first, and He will guide your walk

Oh, Daxten, wherever you go in this life

Through the good and the bad, the joy and the strife

You will always hold a special place in GiGi's heart

No matter where you wander, we will never be apart

I'm so proud of who you are, you can always come to me

My brave and loving grandson, the boy who made me GiGi
