Christopher

We met upon the internet, a spark across a screen

And built the truest love that I have ever seen

Christopher, you're smart and you're so very wise

I see a gentle spirit when I look into your eyes

You answered the call, wearing courage like a shield

And my heart goes with you out onto the field

Gummy Bear, stand tall as the soldier you are

I'm sending my prayers to you under the stars

You're fighting the war just to bring the world peace

May God's protection around you never cease

I love you to the moon and back, I swear

My brave, sweet husband, my Gummy Bear

I know the mission's heavy and the nights can be so long

But I know my husband is steady and strong

You carry the weight of the world on your chest

To make a better tomorrow and give it your best

I ask the Lord to keep you safe in His grace

Until the day I can finally touch your face

Gummy Bear, stand tall as the soldier you are

I'm sending my prayers to you under the stars

You're fighting the war just to bring the world peace

May God's protection around you never cease

I love you to the moon and back, I swear

My brave, sweet husband, my Gummy Bear

Distance is just a test of a love this deep

You're in my every thought and the dreams I sleep

Keep holding the line, keep being the light

I'm waiting right here at the end of the fight

So Gummy Bear, stand tall as the soldier you are

I'm sending my prayers to you under the stars

You're fighting the war just to bring the world peace

May God's protection around you never cease

I love you to the moon and back, I swear

Come home safe to me, my Gummy Bear
