Isaiah

October fourth, two thousand and seven

God blessed us with you, a piece of heaven

I look in your eyes and I see my own face

My twin and my son, my saving grace

There’s never a dull moment when you’re in the room

You bring so much joy, you chase away gloom

Especially to my heart, you bring the light

I thank God for you every day and night

Isaiah, I prayed for you then, and I pray for you now

Asking God to give you faith when you’re wondering how

To see the whole world in a different light

To trust in the path He has set for your life

You’re loving, protective, a beautiful heart

I’ll pray for your journey, every step, every part

Pulling up to Sonic, just the two of us

Sharing chili cheese tots, never in a rush

It’s the simple moments that mean the most to me

The way you make me laugh so easily

You’re fiercely protective, so funny and kind

Leaving the stress of the whole day behind

Yeah, there's never a dull moment when you're around

You're the deepest kind of joy that I've ever found

Isaiah, I prayed for you then, and I pray for you now

Asking God to give you faith when you’re wondering how

To see the whole world in a different light

To trust in the path He has set for your life

You’re loving, protective, a beautiful heart

I’ll pray for your journey, every step, every part

I’m asking the Lord for your energy

To shift up your mindset and finally see

Seek Him to understand what He has planned

Just trust in His timing and hold to His hand

My twin and my son, you are never alone

I'll cover you in prayer wherever you roam

Isaiah, I prayed for you then, and I pray for you now

Asking God to give you faith when you’re wondering how

To see the whole world in a different light

To trust in the path He has set for your life

My twin and my joy, with a beautiful heart

I’ll pray for your journey, every step, every part
