Lynette

I carried the heavy burden of my sin

A weary spirit fighting battles deep within

But Jesus, You walked up to Calvary's hill

You bled for my rescue, and You love me still

You took on the cross and You suffered in my place

To cover my darkness with the beauty of Your grace

Oh, the sacrifice You made to set me free

You gave Your life to save a soul like me

You washed away the past and let my life begin

A perfect Savior who forgave my every sin

Now I will follow You forever, come what may

I'm walking with You, Jesus, every single day

I remember the fracture, the pain inside my chest

A broken rib that wouldn't let my body rest

But I prayed for Your mercy, and I sought Your face

And I was completely healed by Your holy grace

In just one single week, You took the ache away

A living miracle that I breathe in today

Oh, the sacrifice You made to set me free

You gave Your life to save a soul like me

You washed away the past and let my life begin

A perfect Savior who forgave my every sin

Now I will follow You forever, come what may

I'm walking with You, Jesus, every single day

You looked down from heaven, called Lynette by name

You touched my broken body and took away my shame

So I offer up my future, my heart and my hands

I surrender to the Lord who heals and understands

Oh, the sacrifice You made to set me free

You gave Your life to save a soul like me

You washed away the past and let my life begin

A perfect Savior who forgave my every sin

Now I will follow You forever, come what may

I'm walking with You, Jesus, every single day

Yes, I will follow You forever, come what may
