Sylvia

I bow my head and I thank the Lord above

For a special woman made of pure, sweet love

An angel on earth walking right by my side

With a funny sense of humor and her arms open wide

She’s a woman of God, a sweetheart so true

Sylvia, I see the Holy Spirit in you

Oh, you are my mother, my very best friend

My loyal road dog right down to the end!

You are my everything, my joy and my peace

With a kind, loving heart that will never cease

I lift up my voice and I joyfully sing

Sylvia, my mother, you’re my everything!

You live out the Word every step that you take

Giving your all for the Savior's sake

Just like in Matthew, you care for the weak

You take in the stranger and lift up the meek

You feed the hungry and clothe them in grace

Putting a sweet smile on everyone's face

Oh, you are my mother, my very best friend

My loyal road dog right down to the end!

You are my everything, my joy and my peace

With a kind, loving heart that will never cease

I lift up my voice and I joyfully sing

Sylvia, my mother, you’re my everything!

Through the trials and the triumphs, we ride together

A bond of the spirit that will last forever

You’re the sweetest soul, so funny and bright

Guiding my footsteps and holding the light

Oh, I testify today, you're a blessing to me!

'Cause you are my mother, my very best friend

My faithful road dog right down to the end!

You are my everything, my joy and my peace

With a kind, loving heart that will never cease

Hallelujah, I lift up my hands and I sing

Sylvia, my mother, you’re my everything!

Yes, Sylvia, my angel, you're my everything!
