Peyton

I remember how tiny you were at the start

A sweet little baby who captured my heart

Then four years ago, you walked through my door

To live here with MiMi, and I couldn't want more

You unpacked your bags and you brought in the light

And made every morning so happy and bright

Oh, Peyton, I want you to know you are loved

When the sun is shining or there's storm clouds above

MiMi is standing right here by your side

Through all of the turns on this crazy old ride

I'm here to protect you, whatever life serves

And give you the love that my sweet girl deserves

You’re so outgoing, with a sassy little spark

You're never afraid to go leave your own mark

I love watching you run, so wild and so free

Playing with Michael, as happy as can be

Hearing you two laughing out in the yard

Makes this life easy when the world can be hard

From that tiny little newborn to the girl that I see

You are an absolute blessing to your MiMi

I'll be your safe place, your shelter and guide

Forever and always, with arms open wide

Oh, Peyton, I want you to know you are loved

When the sun is shining or there's storm clouds above

MiMi is standing right here by your side

Through all of the turns on this crazy old ride

I'm here to protect you, whatever life serves

And give you the love that my sweet girl deserves

Yeah, I'll be right here, whatever life serves

Love always, MiMi, you have all the love you deserve
