Anita

You have a heart that is ready to listen

Patient and kind with the burdens we bring

You give the best advice when we need direction

Rooted in truth and the love of the King

Anita, you show us what dedication means

A steady foundation in things yet unseen

You love the Lord and you love His people

Walking the path that He called you to tread

Faithful and true to the heavenly vision

Following closely wherever you're led

When the journey is over and the race has been run

You will hear heaven singing, "Faithful servant, well done."

You stand at the pulpit and open the Scripture

A fantastic preacher who honors the call

You love a good laugh and your spirit is joyful

Forgiving and loving and gracious to all

A firm believer in the Word and its might

You guide your congregation by His holy light

You love the Lord and you love His people

Walking the path that He called you to tread

Faithful and true to the heavenly vision

Following closely wherever you're led

When the journey is over and the race has been run

You will hear heaven singing, "Faithful servant, well done."

Just like the Word says, you are bearing the fruit

A tree by the water with deep, heavy roots

Through every season, your kindness shines through

A shepherd who points us to all that is true

You love the Lord and you love His people

Walking the path that He called you to tread

Faithful and true to the heavenly vision

Following closely wherever you're led

Oh, the angels will cheer for the race you have run

And the Father will tell you, "Good and faithful, well done."
