Nickey

Twenty years of walking by your side

My faithful husband, through the tears we've cried

Through the hard times and the brightest days

I have watched you lift your hands in praise

Through every laugh and every heavy load

We've seen His mercy on this winding road

Nickey, you love us with a father's heart

A true provider when the shadows start

A prayer warrior fighting on your knees

Trusting the Lord for the things unseen

So keep your eyes on the Savior's call

Wherever God leads you, we will follow it all

Watching our family grow year by year

Your steady spirit always draws us near

You work with a purpose, you give us your best

And lay down your worries so we can find rest

Through all the good times that heaven has planned

I am so grateful to hold your hand

Nickey, you love us with a father's heart

A true provider when the shadows start

A prayer warrior fighting on your knees

Trusting the Lord for the things unseen

So keep your eyes on the Savior's call

Wherever God leads you, we will follow it all

In the quiet of the morning, I hear you pray

Asking the Spirit to show us the way

You carry this house in the palm of your faith

Covering us in the Father's grace

You are the shepherd who guides us in love

Pointing our eyes to the kingdom above

Oh Nickey, you love us with a father's heart

A true provider when the shadows start

A prayer warrior fighting on your knees

Trusting the Lord for the things unseen

So keep your eyes on the Savior's call

Wherever God leads you, we will follow it all

Yes, wherever God leads you, we will follow it all
