Child of God

I see your name pop up upon my screen

A little window to the scenes you share

We mostly pass each other in the feed

But I just wanted you to know I care

I’m reaching out across the digital space

To send a little reminder of grace

You are a child of God, beautifully made

Held in a light that is never gonna fade

Whenever you feel lonely or out of view

Just remember that Jesus loves you

Yes, Jesus loves you

Behind the photos and the words you type

I know this world can be a heavy fight

We don't talk every day, we're passing through

But I am praying for the best for you

You have a Maker who is holding your hand

Who sees your heart and understands

You are a child of God, beautifully made

Held in a light that is never gonna fade

Whenever you feel lonely or out of view

Just remember that Jesus loves you

Yes, Jesus loves you

More than a profile, more than a name

You have a Savior who calls you through the frame

Through all the noise of the glowing screens

You mean so much more than you've ever seen

'Cause you are a child of God, beautifully made

Held in a light that is never gonna fade

Whenever you feel lonely or out of view

Just remember that Jesus loves you

Oh, you are a child of God, it's true

And forever, Jesus loves you
