I look back at the roots that made me who I am

Mom and dad, and the siblings holding my hand

Four boys, five girls, a house full of grace

The youngest of nine finding her place

They taught me to care, to listen and love

And lift up my eyes to the Father above

I am a warrior of God, standing beautiful and strong

With a heart of gold, I know right where I belong

When I face a new mountain, I don't have to fear the climb

Blessed with good people to help bear the load

I try to be a light, to help when I can
