Nicola

Three little girls growing up side by side

Holding on tight for a beautiful ride

You are the youngest, the last of the three

But you've always been strong as a deep-rooted tree

Nicola, you held your own from the start

With a gentle hand and a steady heart

Oh, Nicola, you're loyal and you're strong

Like the steady beat of a country song

You've got a kindness that shines so bright

A beautiful soul in the morning light

You are so loved, more than words can say

And we're celebrating you today

Roll down the windows, play a country track

We've got a million memories looking back

Singing every word while the miles roll by

Underneath a wide and open sky

Or catching the sunshine on a trip to Turkey

Just the three of us laughing, wild and free

Oh, Nicola, you're loyal and you're strong

Like the steady beat of a country song

You've got a kindness that shines so bright

A beautiful soul in the morning light

You are so loved, more than words can say

And we're celebrating you today

Now the calendar turns to a brand new page

But you're only getting better with age

Fifty years of a life so sweet

Making this sisterhood feel complete

Half a century of the girl we adore

And we know there's gonna be so many more

So raise up a glass to the baby of the crew

There is nobody else in the world like you

Fifty candles burning on the cake tonight

Everything about you is a golden light

We'll stand in your corner, right by your side

With so much love and sisterly pride

Oh, Nicola, you're loyal and you're strong

Like the steady beat of a country song

You've got a kindness that shines so bright

A beautiful soul in the morning light

You are so loved, more than words can say

Happy fiftieth birthday, today
