Adrian

I remember the morning you took your first breath

A beautiful miracle resting so sweet

I looked at your face and I thanked the Lord then

For making my joy and my family complete

Adrian, the angels were singing that day

When heaven sent down a new reason to pray

So reach for the stars that He placed in the sky

Hold onto His grace as you learn how to fly

You’re thoughtful and giving, a beautiful soul

With a loving spirit that makes my heart whole

Oh, Adrian, walk in the light of His truth

And reach for the stars He created for you

I watch how you grow, so patient and smart

With an honest reflection of God in your heart

You’re handsome and kind, understanding and true

I see the Lord's mercy alive inside you

Every step that you take is a beautiful sign

Of my precious grandson, by a Maker divine

So reach for the stars that He placed in the sky

Hold onto His grace as you learn how to fly

You’re thoughtful and giving, a beautiful soul

With a loving spirit that makes my heart whole

Oh, Adrian, walk in the light of His truth

And reach for the stars He created for you

When the shadows grow long or the journey gets steep

Remember the promises heaven will keep

Keep looking above when you're seeking your way

He will guide you and hold you, forever and aye

You are never alone on the path that you roam

His love is the anchor that guides you back home

So reach for the stars that He placed in the sky

Hold onto His grace as you learn how to fly

You’re thoughtful and giving, a beautiful soul

With a loving spirit that makes my heart whole

Oh, Adrian, walk in the light of His truth

And reach for the stars He created for you
