Micaya

The most valued moment that I’ve ever known

Was the day you were born, watching how you have grown

You're a wonderful granddaughter, honest and true

Funny and caring in all that you do

Micaya, you're such a joy to see

With that big beautiful smile beaming right at me

Micaya, please remember that you are loved

Guided by grace and the good Lord above

No matter what happens, no matter what you do

I will always be watching over you

Whenever you're free, it's a treasure to share

Quality time with the love that is there

When I fell ill and the days got so long

You stepped right up and you kept me strong

Thank you for helping me through the pain

And being my shelter out in the rain

You watched over me when I couldn't stand tall

You gave me your care and you carried it all

Micaya, please remember that you are loved

Guided by grace and the good Lord above

No matter what happens, no matter what you do

I will always be watching over you

Whenever you're free, it's a treasure to share

Quality time with the love that is there

With your honest heart and your loving ways

You bring so much laughter to all of my days

You lift up my spirit when life gets too much

There is healing and hope in your gentle touch

Micaya, please remember that you are loved

Guided by grace and the good Lord above

No matter what happens, no matter what you do

I will always be watching over you

Whenever you're free, it's a treasure to share

Quality time with the love that is there

You are truly blessed, and I want you to know

I love you very much, wherever you go
