RJ

You're up with the sun, out working the timber

A hard-working man with dirt on his sleeves

But you've got a heart that is loving and tender

The kind of good father our family needs

You pick at me, joking, to get me to smile

I'd ride by your side for a million miles

RJ, you're my best friend, my true soul mate

My safe place to land at the end of the day

You'll always be my ride or die

Underneath the wide open sky

Through the highs and the lows, whatever we weather

I'm gonna love you forever

I treasure the memory of our very first date

The day we were wed and the days our kids came

Saddling the horses and staying up late

Drinking cold beer, man, I'm glad I took your name

And nothing beats losing our clothes in the dark

Dancing naked right under the stars

RJ, you're my best friend, my true soul mate

My safe place to land at the end of the day

You'll always be my ride or die

Underneath the wide open sky

Through the highs and the lows, whatever we weather

I'm gonna love you forever

From the trails that we ride to the jokes that you tell

You're a sweet, loving man and I know it so well

Every moment we share is a beautiful ride

Just enjoying this life with you by my side

RJ, you're my best friend, my true soul mate

My safe place to land at the end of the day

You'll always be my ride or die

Underneath the wide open sky

Through the highs and the lows, whatever we weather

I'm gonna love you forever

Yeah, you are my ride or die, RJ

I'm gonna love you forever
