Marcus

I was singing on the praise team, healing a broken heart

You were playing on the keyboard, watching your marriage fall apart

Two wounded people in the sanctuary light

Trusting the Lord to lead us through the night

Now it's been four years of walking by your side

But I see the heavy doubts that you still try to hide

Marcus, God loves you, and I love you too

Jesus never fails, He is holding onto you

No matter how far you think you’ve fallen down

There is room in the Kingdom, there is grace to be found

When you can't see your worth and the shadows fall

He has never taken His hands off you at all

You are so loyal and you always make me laugh

Pouring out your loving heart along this healing path

But I know you struggle to see your own light

You carry the guilt and you give up the fight

I wish you could see yourself through the Father's eyes

You are chosen, you are cherished, no matter the lies

Marcus, God loves you, and I love you too

Jesus never fails, He is holding onto you

No matter how far you think you’ve fallen down

There is room in the Kingdom, there is grace to be found

When you can't see your worth and the shadows fall

He has never taken His hands off you at all

Stay encouraged, my love, let His Spirit move

There is nothing to earn, there is nothing to prove

The same hands that formed you are holding you fast

Redeeming your future, forgiving your past

So play those keys and lift up your head

And rest in the promises the Savior has said

Marcus, God loves you, and I love you too

Jesus never fails, He is holding onto you

No matter how far you think you’ve fallen down

There is room in the Kingdom, there is grace to be found

When you can't see your worth and the shadows fall

He has never taken His hands off you at all

Stay encouraged, my love, hear the Savior call

He has never taken His hands off you at all
