Carlicia

I look at you and see a miracle unfolding

A precious gift the Maker gave for me to raise

Carlicia, in the quiet moments we are holding

I lift my hands and give the Father all the praise

You are the daughter that my spirit always prayed for

A gentle soul walking a beautiful design

God loves you, Carlicia, more than words can say

He guides your every step and lights the way

And as you rest inside His holy grace

Know that my heart is right there in that place

Through every season, underneath the sky

God loves you, Carlicia, and so do I

You have a wisdom that is deeper than the waters

A quiet strength that keeps the ones around you safe

You are protective, oh my beautiful, sweet daughter

A faithful guardian who stands upon her faith

I see the Spirit moving through the things you do

I see the love of Heaven shining out from you

God loves you, Carlicia, more than words can say

He guides your every step and lights the way

And as you rest inside His holy grace

Know that my heart is right there in that place

Through every season, underneath the sky

God loves you, Carlicia, and so do I

May His peace be the shadow where you hide

May His word be the lantern by your side

I will be here to cheer you from the shore

But the Lord is your anchor evermore

God loves you, Carlicia, more than words can say

He guides your every step and lights the way

And as you rest inside His holy grace

Know that my heart is right there in that place

Through every season, as the years go by

God loves you, Carlicia, and so do I

Yes, God loves you, Carlicia, and so do I
