John plotke

I still remember those highway miles

Country music and the dashboard dials

Riding in the back of your Suburban

With Mom and John Plotke at the wheel

You showed me how a family should feel

Every song we sang is with me still

Thank you, Dad, for all you do and did

For never giving up on your kid

When I stumble and I start to fall

You're my hero, and you help me through it all

Yeah, you help me through it all

When life gets hard and I lose my way

You are the one who will always stay

You carry the weight without a sigh

And chase the dark clouds from my sky

You build me up whenever I feel small

Thank you, Dad, for all you do and did

For never giving up on your kid

When I stumble and I start to fall

You're my hero, and you help me through it all

Yeah, you help me through it all

From the radio waves out on the road

To helping me carry my heavy load

I look at you and see the man I trust

Always standing strong for all of us

Thank you, Dad, for all you do and did

For never giving up on your kid

When I stumble and I start to fall

You're my hero, and you help me through it all

John Plotke, you're my hero through it all

Thank you, Dad, for helping through it all
