I still remember that time at Brown’s Place

You followed me outside, I looked in your face

You leaned in and kissed me, the feeling was true

Eighteen months later, we stood side by side

Two beautiful daughters came into our world

We started a family, our precious girls

I watched how you loved Him, I watched how you served

You lived out His goodness with every word

It changed our whole marriage, it made us so strong

We finally found where our spirits belong

You answered the calling to shepherd the flock

You became a pastor and stood on the rock

You never turned back, you gave all that you had

A man of the faith, and it makes me so glad
