Donna

Through the good times and the bad, you never left my side

A steady hand to hold when tears were hard to hide

Donna, when you play the piano, your fingers on the keys

Every chord is a worship song that brings me to my knees

Oh, Mom, you are cherished more than you could ever know

You have a heart for Jesus, and you let His glory show

Strong and courageous, with a spirit oh so kind

You leave a trail of heaven and of holy grace behind

You don't know how much courage and patience you possess

With a big heart full of love, you live to truly bless

You always bring the laughter, a smile to lift the pain

Holding onto Jesus in the sunshine and the rain

Oh, Mom, you are cherished more than you could ever know

You have a heart for Jesus, and you let His glory show

Strong and courageous, with a spirit oh so kind

You leave a trail of heaven and of holy grace behind

The Lord is your Shepherd, He leads you day by day

Beside the quiet waters, He guides you on His way

Through the valley of the shadow, you never have to fear

His goodness and His mercy will always hold you near

Oh, Mom, you are cherished more than you could ever know

You have a heart for Jesus, and you let His glory show

Strong and courageous, with a spirit oh so kind

You leave a trail of heaven and of holy grace behind

You reflect the Savior in everything you do

I thank the Lord above for the gift of having you
