Michael

Three years ago, our story started

I still remember how we met

You were handsome, you were funny

A moment I will not forget

You had a dog treat in your hand

You looked at me with a playful stare

You took it anyway, just for a laugh

And I was smiling right then and there

Oh Michael, you’re the caring heart I need

The loving soul who anchors me

You make life fun, you make it right

My favorite part of every night

So thank you for the man you are

I love you more than words can say

I'm so glad you stole my heart

When you took that crazy bite that day

When the world gets a little heavy

You're the one who pulls me through

I never knew a love so steady

Until the day that I found you

It’s in the quiet way you hold me

The gentle way you say my name

Since that goofy day we started

Nothing's ever been the same

Oh Michael, you’re the caring heart I need

The loving soul who anchors me

You make life fun, you make it right

My favorite part of every night

So thank you for the man you are

I love you more than words can say

I'm so glad you stole my heart

When you took that crazy bite that day

I look at you and I still see

That handsome guy who fell for me

You're everything I'm dreaming of

My partner and my greatest love

I just want to thank you, babe

For the beautiful life we've made

Oh Michael, you’re the caring heart I need

The loving soul who anchors me

You make life fun, you make it right

My favorite part of every night

So thank you for the man you are

I love you more than words can say

I'm so glad you stole my heart

When you took that crazy bite that day
