RONALD

You started as the neighbor living right next door

But God was writing a story that was so much more

Every simple moment, every quiet day

Became a precious memory I'll never trade away

The Lord was guiding our footsteps, He answered every prayer

I looked across the way and saw my future standing there

Ronald, you're my shelter when the wind is blowing cold

Patient and so caring, the safest hand to hold

Protective and so loving, a reflection of His grace

I thank our Heavenly Father for the smile upon your face

You're the gift He gave to me, my husband and my friend

A love built on a faith that will never end

I look back on the altar, the day we said "I do"

The holy vow we made when I gave my heart to you

That was the precious moment my spirit finally knew

The rest of my tomorrows would be spent with you

Side by side together, beneath the Father's hand

Guided by His Spirit, exactly as He planned

Ronald, you're my shelter when the wind is blowing cold

Patient and so caring, the safest hand to hold

Protective and so loving, a reflection of His grace

I thank our Heavenly Father for the smile upon your face

You're the gift He gave to me, my husband and my friend

A love built on a faith that will never end

We sing of amazing grace, how sweet the sound

With an awesome God, look at the love we found

Through every single season, whatever life may bring

We have victory in the Lord, and so my soul will sing

Ronald, you're my shelter when the wind is blowing cold

Patient and so caring, the safest hand to hold

Protective and so loving, a reflection of His grace

I thank our Heavenly Father for the smile upon your face

You're the gift He gave to me, my husband and my friend

A love built on a faith that will never end
