Clara

My little sister, with a spirit so bright

You bring the laughter, you bring the light

We'd sit up talking, just sharing our minds

Playing our games, leaving worries behind

You're so outgoing, so caring and strong

I'm lifting you up in the words of this song

Oh Clara, I love you, I'm praying for you

When seasons are heavy, He'll carry you through

No matter what happens, just look to the Lord

Stand on His promise and trust in His Word

Keep your eyes on Jesus wherever you go

He loves you much more than you'll ever know

I cherish the moments we open the Word

In our Bible studies, the Spirit is heard

You're fun and you're joyful, but rooted in grace

I see the Lord's kindness alive on your face

You care for the people who come in your view

I'm so deeply grateful for a sister like you

Oh Clara, I love you, I'm praying for you

When seasons are heavy, He'll carry you through

No matter what happens, just look to the Lord

Stand on His promise and trust in His Word

Keep your eyes on Jesus wherever you go

He loves you much more than you'll ever know

So when the road turns or the mountains are steep

Remember the promises Jesus will keep

I'm lifting your name to the heavens above

To wrap you, my sister, in infinite love

Hold onto the cross when the shadows are long

Let faith be your anchor, let praise be your song

Oh Clara, I love you, I'm praying for you

When seasons are heavy, He'll carry you through

No matter what happens, just look to the Lord

Stand on His promise and trust in His Word

Keep your eyes on Jesus wherever you go

He loves you much more than you'll ever know

Yes, He loves you much more than you'll ever know
