Kelly

We walked into this through an open door

A mutual friend we don't see anymore

The seasons changed and that old tie frayed

But I'm so grateful for the bond we made

Out of the fade, we found a spark

A friendship growing in the light and dark

Oh Kelly, you're the blessing that I didn't see coming

You put everyone first, you keep the whole room running

You're the amazing best friend I always hoped I'd know

A steady hand to hold wherever we go

Two are better than one, it's undeniably true

And I'm so grateful to share this life with you

You never second-guess, you share the weight

You step right in before it gets too late

You look out for the world before yourself

A selfless spirit is your greatest wealth

I count my blessings for the friend I found

When that old connection was breaking down

Oh Kelly, you're the blessing that I didn't see coming

You put everyone first, you keep the whole room running

You're the amazing best friend I always hoped I'd know

A steady hand to hold wherever we go

Two are better than one, it's undeniably true

And I'm so grateful to share this life with you

Ecclesiastes says if one should fall

The other will be there to answer the call

Pity the one who has to stumble alone

But with you by my side, I'm never on my own

When the road gets heavy and the night is long

We lift each other up and keep each other strong

Oh Kelly, you're the blessing that I didn't see coming

You put everyone first, you keep the whole room running

You're the amazing best friend I always hoped I'd know

A steady hand to hold wherever we go

Two are better than one, it's undeniably true

If I ever fall down, I know I have you
