Tuneday

A glowing screen in New York City

That’s where our story first began

Our wedding day was like a fairytale

Walking together, hand in hand

You were so calm, so wise and giving

A gentle spirit, kind and true

We had a joy that felt like heaven

I found a beautiful light in you

Oh, Tuneday, you are loved and you are missed

I’m sending you this prayer across the miles

Today I celebrate the day that you were born

And pray the Lord restores your peaceful smile

Happy Birthday to the one who holds my heart

Even though the seasons pulled us far apart

You are strong, you are faithful through and through

Oh Tuneday, God is watching over you

Then came the day you had to step away

And nothing here has ever been the same

I know you’ve walked through heavy valleys

And learned some tough lessons through the rain

But even when the road is dark and lonely

Remember all the strength you have inside

You've always been supportive and so loving

Let heaven’s mercy be your guide

Oh, Tuneday, you are loved and you are missed

I’m sending you this prayer across the miles

Today I celebrate the day that you were born

And pray the Lord restores your peaceful smile

Happy Birthday to the one who holds my heart

Even though the seasons pulled us far apart

You are strong, you are faithful through and through

Oh Tuneday, God is watching over you

Keep the faith when shadows fall around you

The Lord is walking right beside your feet

Stay strong, my love, the storm will soon be passing

His grace will make your journey so complete

I want you to remember you are cherished

Just know that Ivy's lifting you in prayer

Oh, Tuneday, you are loved and you are missed

I’m sending you this prayer across the miles

Today I celebrate the day that you were born

And pray the Lord restores your peaceful smile

Happy Birthday to the one who holds my heart

Even though the seasons pulled us far apart

You are strong, you are faithful through and through

Oh Tuneday, God is watching over you

Yes Tuneday, God is walking right with you
