I carried a stigma, a weight on my chest

A wandering soul that was searching for rest

Then I was quickened, a sudden release

Touched by the Spirit and flooded with peace

The old passed away, the shadows were gone

And the light of redemption began to dawn

Saved by His grace, I am born again

The love of the Father has rescued me

This life of Eva is completely made new

Walking out of the dark and into the true

The touch of the Spirit erased every stain

I'm leaving behind all the guilt and the pain

Salvation has called me, it rewrote my story

Turning my brokenness into His glory
