susie

I open up my eyes to the morning light

Breathing in the grace of a brand new start

I’m leaving every worry in the quiet night

And waking up today with a happy heart

I know the road ahead is in Your hands

I’m stepping out and trusting in Your plans

This is the day the Lord has made

I will rejoice, I won't be afraid

Every moment is a gift of grace

I’m walking in the light of His face

Oh, let the whole world hear me say

This is the day, this is the day

When tomorrow's hidden from my view

I hear You whisper, "Susie, trust in Me"

I anchor in the promises I know are true

And let Your perfect peace set my spirit free

My soul is smiling 'cause You hold my hand

I’m trusting God exactly where I stand

This is the day the Lord has made

I will rejoice, I won't be afraid

Every moment is a gift of grace

I’m walking in the light of His face

Oh, let the whole world hear me say

This is the day, this is the day

Let the joy rise up, let the shadows fall

My God is good, and He is over all

With a happy soul, I will lift my voice

I make the choice, I will rejoice!

This is the day the Lord has made

I will rejoice, I won't be afraid

Every moment is a gift of grace

I’m walking in the light of His face

Oh, let the whole world hear me say

This is the day, this is the day

Yes, I will rejoice and be glad today!
