Carson

Started with a screen, a connection in the dark

A single message sent, and it captured my whole heart

We’ve been through the valleys, we’ve climbed up to the peaks

Riding out the storms, finding strength when we were weak

Every up and down only showed me who you are

My anchor in the heavy rain, my constant shining star

Carson, I believe in you, I’m with you every step

Holding onto every single promise that we kept

Through the trials and the triumphs, whatever comes our way

I’m standing right beside you, and forever I will stay

Yeah, forever I will stay

You always make me smile with the funny things you do

So gentle and so giving, a love so pure and true

When I look at our daughter, I see the best of us

A beautiful creation built on tenderness and trust

You’re the kindest soul I know, the center of my life

I thank the Lord above that He chose me as your wife

Carson, I believe in you, I’m with you every step

Holding onto every single promise that we kept

Through the trials and the triumphs, whatever comes our way

I’m standing right beside you, and forever I will stay

Yeah, forever I will stay

Matthew nineteen, verse six, the words that guide our home

We are no longer two, we are one flesh in our bones

Let no one split apart what God has joined together

This bond is made of spirit, and it’s meant to last forever

Nothing breaks this tether

'Cause Carson, I believe in you, I’m with you every step

Holding onto every single promise that we kept

Through the trials and the triumphs, whatever comes our way

I’m standing right beside you, and forever I will stay

What God has joined together, nothing takes away

I'm with you every step, Carson, every single day
