Jesus

From the very beginning, before the world was made

To this present moment, through the light and the shade

You will be there at the end, when the final trumpet blows

You're the author of the story that all creation knows

Through the dark of the tomb to the resurrection day

You rose up in glory and You rolled the stone away

Oh, Jesus, I love You forever and ever

Thank You for the grace that will leave my side never

When the heavens open wide and the angels gather

Look down in Your mercy, remember me, Father

Yes, I'm singing out my thanks to You, forever and ever

You move with the Spirit of the Lord by Your side

With perfect Understanding and Wisdom as Your guide

You bring the faithful Counsel when I'm losing my way

And the Might to keep standing in the heat of the day

With the Knowledge of heaven and the Fear of the Lord

You are the living truth that my soul has adored

Oh, Jesus, I love You forever and ever

Thank You for the grace that will leave my side never

When the heavens open wide and the angels gather

Look down in Your mercy, remember me, Father

Yes, I'm singing out my thanks to You, forever and ever

The grave couldn't hold You, You stepped into the light

Now You're walking in my present, making everything right

From the dawn of all time to the end of the line

I'm lifting up my voice just to know that You are mine

Oh, Jesus, I love You forever and ever

Thank You for the grace that will leave my side never

When the heavens open wide and the angels gather

Look down in Your mercy, remember me, Father

I will praise You, Lord Jesus, forever and ever

Hear my heart singing out, remember me, Father!
