I’ve always walked a quiet road, an introvert at heart

Finding peace in stillness where the deeper waters start

But then the grace of Jesus came and washed away the grey

The moment I was saved, the shadows finally gave way

He took my heavy history and cleared it from my mind

I left the weight of yesterday so far behind

I am a new creation, my heavy past is gone

My future is so bright, I am walking in the dawn

I felt the breath of miracles the day my sons were born

A love I couldn't measure on a quiet, early morn

I held them in my arms and thanked the Lord above

For filling up my introverted spirit with His love

Through every single season, through every tear I cried

I knew the Holy Spirit was standing by my side
