Tuneday

It started with a screen in the New York lights

A digital connection in the middle of the night

You brought a gentle calm to my restless soul

Our beautiful wedding day made my spirit whole

We were so happy, standing face to face

Living out a fairytale, wrapped in holy grace

Oh, Tunde, you are missed, Tunde, you are loved

Guided by the hands of the Father up above

I know the road is hard, but God is with you now

Keep the faith inside your heart, He will show you how

Today I celebrate the very day that you were born

Happy birthday, my partner, my shelter in the storm

Then the season turned and you went away

And things just haven't been the same since that day

I know you’ve walked through valleys and learned some heavy things

But I see the quiet strength that your presence always brings

You are wise, you are giving, so supportive and kind

The most faithful believer that a heart could ever find

Oh, Tunde, you are missed, Tunde, you are loved

Guided by the hands of the Father up above

I know the road is hard, but God is with you now

Keep the faith inside your heart, He will show you how

Today I celebrate the very day that you were born

Happy birthday, my partner, my shelter in the storm

So stay strong, my darling, don't you ever lose your way

Ivy is sending all her love on your special day

Though the distance lies between us, my prayer for you is clear

May the Lord surround you, may you always feel Him near

Oh, Tunde, you are missed, Tunde, you are loved

Guided by the hands of the Father up above

I know the road is hard, but God is with you now

Keep the faith inside your heart, He will show you how

Today I celebrate the very day that you were born

Happy birthday, my Tunde, my shelter in the storm

Happy birthday, my love
