Abby

I still see that imaginary farm out in the yard

You and Turtle playing, laughing so hard

My Tiny Miss Mercer County, wearing your crown

With a beautiful smile that could turn any day around

We’d pack up for Disney or sleep in a tent

Sitting under the stars, wondering where the time went

You are so strong, you have weathered the rain

Overcoming the obstacles, pushing through pain

Whenever you need me, whatever the day

Your mama is always a phone call away

I will love you forever, my sweet Abby girl

You're a light and a blessing to my whole world

When I hold little Selah Rae close to my chest

I know that our family is truly so blessed

Looking into her eyes, it's so easy to see

My beautiful baby Abby staring back at me

You're a wonderful mother, so patient and kind

Leaving the hardest of struggles behind

You are so strong, you have weathered the rain

Overcoming the obstacles, pushing through pain

Whenever you need me, whatever the day

Your mama is always a phone call away

I will love you forever, my sweet Abby girl

You're a light and a blessing to my whole world

I spent hours in prayer, asking the Lord up above

To send you a man who would show you true love

Someone to treat you like the princess you are

And Ethan is that answered prayer, exceeding it by far

I know that your dad is in Heaven today

Smiling down on you in his own loving way

He is so proud of the woman you've grown up to be

And the beautiful life you've built for your family

You are so strong, you have weathered the rain

Overcoming the obstacles, pushing through pain

Whenever you need me, whatever the day

Your mama is always a phone call away

I will love you forever, my sweet Abby girl

My Tiny Miss Mercer, my whole entire world
