Kiley

You’ve got that main character energy, beautiful and true

So completely authentic in everything you do

The backbone of the groupchat, always spilling the tea

But now there is an ocean between you and me

You packed your bags for Auckland, a brand new scene

Dad’s little princess, stepping into the dream

I miss you here in LA since you caught that flight

But I know that your journey is looking so bright

Oh Kiley, you shine bright like a diamond in the dark

Even all the way in New Zealand, you’re right here in my heart

I know God's got you, He wrote the perfect plan

To give you hope and a future, holding your hand

You’re my favorite daughter, forever and a day

And I’ll be waiting right here when you visit LA

I think about the memories we made side by side

Tearing open blind boxes with our eyes open wide

Cheering for Argentina, World Cup on the screen

The most dedicated gamer that I’ve ever seen

And I can almost taste the magic you bake

Your red velvet dulce de leche cake

Every little moment is a treasure I keep

While you’re living out your story across the deep

Oh Kiley, you shine bright like a diamond in the dark

Even all the way in New Zealand, you’re right here in my heart

I know God's got you, He wrote the perfect plan

To give you hope and a future, holding your hand

You’re my favorite daughter, forever and a day

And I’ll be waiting right here when you visit LA

He has plans to prosper you, and never to harm

Keeping you safe right inside of His arms

So keep leveling up, keep being so you

This distance is just a season we're passing through

Love forever from Mom, you’re strong and you’re free

I’m counting down the days till you’re visiting me

'Cause Kiley, you shine bright like a diamond in the dark

Even all the way in Auckland, you’re right here in my heart

I know God's got you, He wrote the perfect plan

To give you hope and a future, holding your hand

You’re my favorite daughter, forever and a day

I love you forever, come see me in LA!
