Kurt

Kurt, you've got a sharp mind and a handsome face

You carry a spark into every place

We've got these inside jokes we keep

Laughing so hard that we can't even speak

Looking around, nobody else gets it

Just you and me, and I'll never forget it

Any time spent with you is time well spent

I'm so proud of the man you represent

When the mountain is steep and the shadows fall

And you can't quite make sense of it all

You don't need to see the whole path ahead

Just trust in the quiet voice instead

Keep your head up and step into the light

Walk by faith, not by sight

Yeah, walk by faith, not by sight

Strapping in at the top of the hill

Catching the wind and the winter chill

Carving the powder, flying so free

Just my boy riding right next to me

You've got the humor to lighten the load

And the smarts to navigate any road

Whatever this crazy life brings your way

I know you're gonna conquer the day

When the mountain is steep and the shadows fall

And you can't quite make sense of it all

You don't need to see the whole path ahead

Just trust in the quiet voice instead

Keep your head up and step into the light

Walk by faith, not by sight

Yeah, walk by faith, not by sight

There might be days when the clouds roll in

And you aren't exactly sure where to begin

Just close your eyes, take a breath and stand

You've got the strength to take command

Even in the dark, you'll find your way through

Because I know the heart inside of you

When the mountain is steep and the shadows fall

And you can't quite make sense of it all

You don't need to see the whole path ahead

Just trust in the quiet voice instead

Keep your head up and step into the light

Walk by faith, not by sight

Kurt, walk by faith, not by sight
