Matthew

I look back on those visits, just learning who you are

Every word you shared with me was healing to my heart

We lost track of the hours, letting the world fade away

Intertwined in the moment, where I wanted to stay

Matthew, you're my rock, my soulmate, my guide

The love of my life standing right by my side

I can't imagine a single day without your face

No matter the challenge, no matter the space

Through every storm we weather, whatever we go through

I know our love will last forever, my heart belongs to you

I watch you with our kids, and I am moved to tears

Seeing the amazing daddy who chases away their fears

You are so loving and caring, so incredibly kind

A gentle and patient spirit that brings me peace of mind

Matthew, you're my rock, my soulmate, my guide

The love of my life standing right by my side

I can't imagine a single day without your face

No matter the challenge, no matter the space

Through every storm we weather, whatever we go through

I know our love will last forever, my heart belongs to you

When the heavy winds blow and the shadows fall long

Your love is the sanctuary where I belong

A gift from above, a prayer that came true

My beautiful blessing, Matthew, is you

'Cause you are my rock, my soulmate, my guide

The love of my life standing right by my side

I can't imagine a single day without your face

No matter the challenge, no matter the space

Through every storm we weather, whatever we go through

I know our love will last forever, my heart belongs to you
