Christopher

We started our story in a crowded room

Met at a bar, just me and you

Four years ago, we couldn't have known

Just how beautifully we would have grown

We changed for the better, side by side

With God as our center and our guide

Christopher, you're the man I see

I look right past your disability

You're protective and caring, my safest place

With God at the center, we're walking in grace

I love you for you, I want you to know

You're worthy before Him, I love you so

You always know how to make me smile

Dropping a dad joke to lighten the miles

You lift me up when my spirit is low

Encouraging me everywhere that I go

You keep me laughing through heavy days

I'm so in love with your gentle ways

Christopher, you're the man I see

I look right past your disability

You're protective and caring, my safest place

With God at the center, we're walking in grace

I love you for you, I want you to know

You're worthy before Him, I love you so

I know that your body is aching and sore

But you still show up and give me your more

You help me out though you're always in pain

Pushing right through it again and again

I see your sacrifice, tender and true

My heart is so deeply devoted to you

We've changed for the better, you and I

Watching these four faithful years go by

You're worthy of love, you're worthy of peace

A beautiful bond that will only increase

God sees your heart and I see it too

I'm so blessed to share this lifetime with you

Christopher, you're the man I see

I look right past your disability

You're protective and caring, my safest place

With God at the center, we're walking in grace

I love you for you, I want you to know

You're worthy before Him, I'll never let go
