Lianne

Sixty years of walking side by side

My big sister, my constant guide

You're patient, honest, caring, and kind

The most creative soul I could ever find

Through every season, the highs and the lows

Our bond just deepens, our story grows

Thank you, Lianne, for the love you send

My beautiful sister and my genuine friend

A supportive daughter with a heart of gold

A loving mother, a wonder to behold

To precious little Keona, the most amazing auntie

You're everything a big sister is meant to be

I still smile at those late-night scenes

Watching King Kong glow on the midnight screens

Caring for Great Grandma Coka down the hall

Waiting for the moment that she would call

Interrupting our quiet, late-night plan

Yelling, "Lianne, get to bed, Lianne!"

Thank you, Lianne, for the love you send

My beautiful sister and my genuine friend

A supportive daughter with a heart of gold

A loving mother, a wonder to behold

To precious little Keona, the most amazing auntie

You're everything a big sister is meant to be

I remember with Grandma, the moments we shared

The gentle devotion in the way that we cared

She said, "I hope this isn't what I think it is...

This reminds me of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood."

Now we're here for Mamasita, holding her tight

Staying by her side through the day and the night

We'll care for her together, step by step

Just me and you, Lianne, 'til her final breath

It takes a beautiful spirit to give so much

To heal the heavy moments with a tender touch

Sixty years of memories, but the truth is clear

I'm just so grateful that I have you here

Through the care, the tears, and the quiet grace

No one could ever take my sister's place

Thank you, Lianne, for the love you send

My beautiful sister and my genuine friend

A supportive daughter with a heart of gold

A loving mother, a wonder to behold

To precious little Keona, the most amazing auntie

You're everything a big sister is meant to be
