Debbie& Lola

Debbie and Lola, shining so bright

Sixty years of walking in the heavenly light

Two beautiful souls, so loving and sweet

Bringing a smile to everybody you meet

You’re funny and you’re caring, brave and so strong

Twin sisters singing a victorious song

Look at the beauty that the journey has made

Standing together, you are never afraid

This is the day that the Lord has made

Let us rejoice and be glad in it today

Happy sixtieth birthday, let the praises sound

Jesus brought you through, put your feet on solid ground

Yeah, He put your feet on solid ground

You faced the trials and the storms in your way

But you held on tight and you continued to pray

Through every single problem that the seasons would bring

You found a reason to lift your voices and sing

Now you got a testimony we need to hear

How His perfect love wiped away every tear

Sixty years of miracles, side by side

With the Savior's grace as your ultimate guide

This is the day that the Lord has made

Let us rejoice and be glad in it today

Happy sixtieth birthday, let the praises sound

Jesus brought you through, put your feet on solid ground

Yeah, He put your feet on solid ground

Every morning we wake is a gift from above

So we celebrate you both with a mountain of love

Twin sisters, double the blessing, double the grace

A beautiful light shining out from your face

Through the wind and the rain, you never gave up

Now the joy of the Lord is overflowing your cup

So this is the day that the Lord has made!

Let us rejoice and be glad in it today

Happy sixtieth, Debbie and Lola, let the praises sound

Jesus brought you through, put your feet on solid ground

He brought you through the storm, put your feet on solid ground

Rejoice and be glad, you're on solid ground!
