Christopher

Christopher, you were my very first light

You taught me what love is, you made the world bright

You gave me the title, you made me a mom

With a good-hearted spirit, so sensitive and calm

I believe in you, I see who you are

God is right with you, you've traveled so far

Hold on to hope, let the shadows give way

This is your season, step into the day

Stay strong in your faith, keep a positive view

Forever and always, I love you

We've lived through the changes, the ups and the downs

I'm sorry for tough times when sorrow was found

But when the storms gathered and skies were so gray

You and your brothers were the reason I stayed

I couldn't give up, I had to push through

My reason for fighting was looking at you

I believe in you, I see who you are

God is right with you, you've traveled so far

Hold on to hope, let the shadows give way

This is your season, step into the day

Stay strong in your faith, keep a positive view

Forever and always, I love you

Your loving spirit is a beautiful light

A sensitive soul shining so bright

Whatever comes next, just know that it's true

The Lord goes before you, making things new

I believe in you, I see who you are

God is right with you, you've traveled so far

Hold on to hope, let the shadows give way

This is your season, step into the day

Stay strong in your faith, keep a positive view

Christopher, always, I love you
