Kathy

Kathy, you've got a spirit so sweet

A gentle kind of grace for everyone you meet

You're giving and you're thankful, right from the start

No matter where life takes us, you're always in my heart

Just being together is all I really need

You're a blessing in my life, a beautiful friend indeed

So remember the laughter when the shadows start to fall

Remember I'm your sister, I'll answer when you call

I will always be here for you, through the highs and the lows

With the kind of steady love that only a sister knows

Yeah, I love you, Kathy, more than words can say

I'll be standing beside you, every step of the way

You always have a joke to chase the clouds away

Bringing out the sunshine on a heavy day

You pour your kindness out, asking nothing in return

A gentle, giving soul with so much love to burn

Just sitting and talking, letting time slip on by

I count my lucky stars for the bond between you and I

So remember the laughter when the shadows start to fall

Remember I'm your sister, I'll answer when you call

I will always be here for you, through the highs and the lows

With the kind of steady love that only a sister knows

Yeah, I love you, Kathy, more than words can say

I'll be standing beside you, every step of the way

Some things in this life are bound to fade and part

But you and me, we're tethered at the heart

I'm so deeply thankful for the moments that we share

Whenever you look around, I promise I'll be there

So remember the laughter when the shadows start to fall

Remember I'm your sister, I'll answer when you call

I will always be here for you, through the highs and the lows

With the kind of steady love that only a sister knows

Yeah, I love you, Kathy, more than words can say

I'll be standing beside you, every step of the way

Always in my heart, every single day
